We are looking for a fantastic new Head of Internal Communications to replace a colleague who is relocating in the summer. The incoming post-holder will lead a brilliant team to deliver the University’s Internal Communications (iComms) strategy, to engage a diverse audience of students, academics, and professional service colleagues.
They will lead, manage and inspire the iComms team to deliver an engaging and successful programme of internal communications, to increase engagement, promote belonging, engender a sense of pride and enhance participation levels.
Candidates should have experience of working at a senior level in a Communications role, with experience of channel management, engagement, relationship building and team leadership skills. They should have passion for the Higher Education sector, experience of working across complex organisations, enjoy juggling multiple projects, working collaboratively, with a sense of humour, and enjoy a challenge.
