The Opportunity: Healthcare Development Manager

As a Healthcare Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving prescription sales targets and market share objectives for the Mead Johnson nutrition portfolio within the ever-evolving NHS landscape. This position demands a strategic and experienced account manager capable of crafting and executing impactful account plans aligned with regional and national objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Advantages for Candidates:

  • Building High-Impact Relationships: The role emphasizes cultivating strong connections with key stakeholders, including Dietitians, Paediatricians, GPs, and Heads of Medicines Managers. By developing these networks, you'll directly influence prescribing practices and patient outcomes.
  • Strategic Influence and Guideline Development: You will be responsible for disseminating vital information about Reckitt's NHS portfolio and contributing to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines. This offers a unique opportunity to shape healthcare practices and improve patient care.

You'll also be encouraged to proactively identify opportunities and threats, proposing innovative solutions to overcome barriers and drive growth.
  • Strategic Market Insight: Gaining a nuanced understanding of national and local NHS decision-making processes will allow you to optimize brand strategy within your region, making your contributions highly strategic.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Reckitt fosters a culture of curiosity. You will be encouraged to expand your clinical and product knowledge, enhancing your ability to engage effectively with customers and drive success.

What Reckitt is Looking For:

  • Develop and Nurture Customer Networks: Building lasting relationships is paramount.
  • Analyze and Communicate Complex Information: Effectively understanding and disseminating medical and scientific data to diverse audiences is crucial.
  • Demonstrate Key Skills: Proficiency in Key Account Management, Sales Negotiation, Strategy Execution, and a strong understanding of commercial and financial acumen are essential. Collaboration, influencing, and consultative selling skills will be vital for success.
  • Educational Background: A science degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, along with ABPI qualification.
