Job Title: Ice Cream Separation GCAD P&L Manager Location: 100VE, Rotterdam - Weena 455 Work-Level: 2A JOB PURPOSE The Group Chief Accountant Department (GCAD) is part of the central Finance team. GCAD is responsible for Unilever external financial reporting and global financial reporting controls (including Sarbanes Oxley compliance), managing the global auditor relationship; determining and implementing Unilever accounting policies; and many other projects related to how Unilever measures its performance and presents and communicates this to the external world. GCAD are responsible for the cowllection of the monthly management result, the monthly financial results as well as the collection process for the forecast. This is a temporary project role (9 months) responsible for managing financial reporting matters relating to Ice Cream demerger, including carved out financial statements. RESPONSIBILITIES Working in collaboration with third party specialist team and separation team, this role is primarily responsible for supporting a) the preparation and review of the carved out financial statements and b) impact of Ice Cream demerger on Unilever Group financial statements. This includes reviewing basis of preparation of the carve out financials, reviewing instructions to the countries, providing support on various policies and addressing queries from local Controllers etc. Ensuring timely provision of information to KPMG, aligning them on complex matters upfront and managing the audit to ensure timely delivery. Working closely with the country controllers and team to ensure timely data submission and support reconciliation efforts across various teams Manage senior stakeholders, including Country Controllers, GCAD LT, Ice Cream LT Key Stakeholders: Internal: Finance Leadership team, Expertise team, Controls team, Country Controlling teams and RTR Operating Centers. Global functions (Global Performance Management, Corporate Tax, Corporate Pension).
