Job Description JOB TITLE: Insight Visualisation Manager. SALARY: £59,850pa to £73,150pa plus an extensive benefits package. LOCATION: Bristol. Edinburgh, Leeds, Halifax or Chester. HOURS: 35 hours, full time. WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at on of the above the listed hubs. Collaboration is key, you’ll have the powers of insight, research and data specialists to support you. This role is pivotal as we scale up our storytelling capabilities in the team, supporting better outcomes for our customers, or supporting those who support our customers. If you’re passionate about storytelling, creating thinking and have experience is design, we want to hear from you! Key responsibilities: Translate complex data, research, and insight reports into visually engaging infographics and visual summaries. Collaborate with insight, strategy, and research teams to understand key messages and tailor visuals accordingly. Create visual templates and design systems that ensure consistency across insight communications. Stay up to date with design trends and best practices in data storytelling and visual communication. Present visual concepts and iterate based on feedback from partners. Ensure all visual outputs align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards. Support internal communications and leadership teams with visual assets that enhance understanding and engagement. About you Visual Design Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Figma, with a portfolio showcasing clean, modern design. Storytelling with data: Experience creating infographics, charts, and visual summaries that distil complex data and research into clear, engaging visual narratives. Typography & Layout Mastery: Deep understanding of visual hierarchy, spacing, and type pairing to enhance readability and impact. Creative Concepting: Ability to brainstorm and develop visual concepts that bring insight narratives to life. Branding Consistency: Skilled at working within brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries. Attention to Detail: Precision in alignment, colour use, and formatting to ensure polished, professional outputs. Adaptability: Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities. Value & Behaviours: Collaborative and a great teammate. Comfortable working with researchers, analysts, and partners to interpret briefs and present visual ideas.
