Internal Communications Consultant Salary â Up to £45,000 This is a fantastic opportunity within the Aviva Brand and Corporate Affairs Internal Communications team, based in London. Youâll be part of our Internal Communications team of five people supporting our Insurance, Wealth and Retirement (IWR) market. A bit about the job: As an instrumental part of the team, youâll help to build and deliver all the components of the annual colleague comms plan, including sourcing and delivering great stories for different channels and audiences â so you need to have a good nose for a story, and excellent written skills. Youâll also be managing stakeholders, contributing to our event strategy and building measurement and insight into everything we do to push us to world class. Youâll be an adept planner, proactive and analytical in nature, and able to influence both through personal impact and using relevant data and insight. Youâll keep our internal communications foundations running like clockwork for the market. Key responsibilities: Working closely with the wider Internal Communications team to make sure communications plans and campaigns are built to support the specific needs of the business. Delivering creative assets and content that fits with the team strategic priorities â always thinking outside of the box and bringing outside inspiration in. Decoding sometimes complex subjects in a way that feels simple, builds understanding, and helps create the right connections. Measurement lead, including weekly review of tracker, regular playback to the team on trends and insights, and quarterly packs for the executive team. A writing guru â writing briefs, writing plans/stakeholder comms, writing for impact, always with the end audience in mind. Skills and experience weâre looking for: Communications experience needed (and/or evidence of professional qualification or membership, for example IOIC). Strong interpersonal skills â ability to listen, challenge, and flex personal style as needed with people at all levels and backgrounds. Confidence to present ideas and recommendations, and respond appropriately when challenged. Excellent communication skills â both written and verbal â and active listening. Highly organised, detail-oriented and analytical.
