This role is based at their vibrant Westfield office in Shepherd's Bush and reports directly to the Senior Merchandiser. THE OUTNET, as part of the leading digital, multi-brand luxury group LuxExperience, is dedicated to bringing joy through a curated selection of exceptional, season-transcending luxury fashion at accessible prices. Key Responsibilities & Career Development

As a Junior Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and profitability. You will gain invaluable experience in:

  • Strategic Planning: Contributing to full-year planning and reforecasting for your department, guided by historical analysis, strategic goals, and the company's vision. This includes forecasting sales, stock, and markdown targets.
  • Brand & Vendor Management: Collaborating on brand planning and developing vendor packs that reflect the evolving business landscape. You will also work with buying teams to align on Open-to-Buy (OTB) targets and joint strategies.
  • Trading & Analysis: Proactively managing departmental performance to minimize risks and maximize opportunities, ensuring intake flow aligns with forecasts and drives sales. You will conduct detailed analytical reviews, present findings, and suggest tactical actions to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with Upload Planners to forecast adequate upload levels and serving as a key analytical contact for your departments.
  • Team Development: While this is a Junior role, you will have the opportunity to learn about coaching and supporting team members, demonstrating the company's vision and values.

  • A graduate-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in fashion retail merchandising, ideally with an online and branded background.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and computer skills.
  • A proven ability to positively impact business through merchandising strategies.
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and confidence in suggesting calculated risks.
  • A keen customer awareness and a deep understanding of the market and brands.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to meet stringent deadlines.
  • The confidence to contribute ideas and initiative to continuously improve the offering.
