The job itself

We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant to support our Cook and team in the day to day operation of our busy school kitchen. The position involves assisting in the meal preparation, serving food, washing up and cleaning duties, in accordance with good practice hygiene and health and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will desirably hold a food hygiene qualification or need to be willing to attend the necessary courses to gain the knowledge and skills.

The daily hours of work are Monday to Friday 11.30am until 2pm.

We are looking for a team player who can work to a high standard, whilst being approachable, enthusiastic and friendly.
