The Faculty of Engineering is looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to lead on significant social media activities related to student recruitment.
This key role aims to enhance the recruitment of postgraduate taught students from the China market. A key focus will be the development of tailored, subject-specific bilingual communications designed to engage applicants, providing them with relevant information to support a more informed decision-making throughout their application and decision-making process.
The role holder will report regularly to the FoE Director of Student Recruitment, providing engagement metrics to assess the impact of this initiative. Additionally, they will be responsible for engaging academic staff to develop bespoke materials that address specific technical subject areas of interest to applicants.
The role holder will also be responsible for recruiting and managing a small group of student ambassadors to support ‘live’ online activities.
The post is offered on a fixed term, part-time basis (0.3FTE) until 30 September 2025. Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
