Middlesex Law School is a modern and dynamic institution based in North London (Hendon), committed to addressing local, national, and global legal challenges. We prioritise research-led legal education, where scholarly inquiry enhances our teaching and integrates with legal practice, providing students with real-world experience through clinical activities. This dynamic approach ensures students are prepared not only for legal practice but also for critical legal scholarship. Our aim is to blend academic rigor with practical application, shaping both the future of legal education and the broader legal landscape.
The Law School is part of the broader School of Law and Social Sciences (LSS) within the Faculty of Business and Law (BAL). Our Legal Advice Centre (LAC) focuses on developing students into reflective graduates by addressing ethical dilemmas and examining the societal impacts of law alongside practical legal training. The LAC is dedicated to strengthening partnerships with law firms, NGOs, and university law clinics while expanding its clinical legal education initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a qualified barrister or solicitor (England & Wales) with at least one year of post-qualification experience and a current practicing certificate. The post holder will supervise students working on family law, housing, benefits, and employment law. Knowledge of immigration law would be advantageous.
