We're seeking outstanding Lecturers (and, in exceptional cases, Senior Lecturers) in Social Psychology. While we are open to applications from candidates across any area of Social Psychology, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with research interests that complement the current research in our social psychology group (https://www.surrey.ac.uk/social-psychology-research-group).
Possible themes of interest include:
Social Cognition Across Groups and Cultures (impression formation, intersectionality, emotions) Social Justice (collective action, economic inequality, migration, stigma of marginalized groups, gender equality, democratic values) Media, Technology, and Society (social media and hate speech, radicalisation, fake news, and misinformation) Intergroup and Interpersonal Relationships (leadership, romantic relationships, friendships, workplace diversity)We encourage candidates who use diverse methodologies (e.g., big data, advanced statistics, mixed methods) to apply for this position.
