We are seeking to recruit a kind, supportive, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking, friendly staff from September 2025 at Bishop Wilton Primary School.
The successful candidate will be required to give support in the classroom or support individuals or small groups of pupils of varying abilities in any curriculum area. Primarily this role will be across KS2. There will be a requirement to give support each lunchtime.
The right person will be considerate, caring, understanding and encouraging, whilst also being firm but fair enabling the children to flourish and meet their full potential. You must have a sense of fun and thrive on working as part of a team, be well organised and be able to liaise with staff and parents and work on your own initiative. The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience to draw on and be able to enhance and contribute to the wider life of this growing school.

The post is 21.25 hours offered on a term time only fixed term contract, starting in September 2025. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 1:00pm with a 15-minute tea break.

In this role you are required to speak English with sufficient fluency to effectively perform your duties, as required by Section 42 of the Immigration Act 2016.
