  • Experience is Essential: This is not a trainee position. Candidates must possess previous experience as an Electrical Linesperson and hold recognized DNO electrical qualifications, including overhead line qualifications in LV, HV, 11kV, and 33kV. Experience or qualifications in 11kV Live Line working are highly advantageous.
  • Safety First Culture: A paramount requirement is a strong commitment to safety. You will be responsible for your own safety and that of your colleagues, acting as a champion for a robust safety culture in all your activities.
  • Operational Demands: The role involves construction and repair work on electrical networks up to and including 11/33kV. Be prepared for demanding work, including responding to emergency situations promptly and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Out-of-Hours Availability: A crucial aspect of the role includes undertaking out-of-hours standby duties and being available for short-notice attendance, particularly during storm situations.
  • Driving License: A full UK driving license is essential for this position.
