  • Driving License and Flexibility: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential. The role demands a flexible approach to working hours and locations due to extensive travel across the network.
  • Desirable, Not Essential, Experience: While not strictly required, previous experience within the electricity distribution network, working in live substation environments (11kV - 132kV), and specific tasks like DC battery systems, panel wiring, multicore cable terminating, and circuit breaker/isolator replacement will significantly strengthen your application.
  • Valued Training and Qualifications: Holding operational authorisations within the electricity network would be highly advantageous. Furthermore, training and qualifications in areas such as scaffold, telehandler, furzeweld, working at heights, confined space, asbestos, COSHH, Loler, and SMSTS are considered beneficial.
