The Role: Driving Operational Excellence in Maintenance Operations

The Maintenance Operations Stores Contact position is instrumental in supporting the Barlborough Stores and Workshop Team Leader and the Maintenance Operations Manager. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the delivery of world-class service to BT's customer base through meticulous parts and warehouse management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maximising team effectiveness and productivity to meet contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and efficiency metrics.
  • Collaborating with peers in Enterprise Field Service to support and implement improvement strategies.
  • Ensuring the Barlborough Stores warehouse and parts functions enable BT to meet contractual customer SLAs.
  • Effectively managing stock requirements for Unity and BT, in collaboration with leadership.
  • Facilitating seamless coordination and operational transparency through communication with internal departments.
  • Upholding BT's Health & Safety guidelines and proactively escalating concerns.
  • Taking ownership of team-level issue resolution, escalating to leadership as necessary.
  • Overseeing accurate stock booking, in/out processes, and maintaining robust inventory control systems.
  • Supporting operational efficiency through diligent stock management and adherence to established processes.
