Maintenance Technician Electrical/Mechanical, electrical biasSalary: £40-45kMonday - FridaySite BasedFull time 40h per weekLocation: GuildfordAre you a skilled Electrician?Sodexo in Guildford, youll use your expertise to ensure the safe and efficient operation of vital electrical and mechanical systems, contributing to the smooth functioning of our facilities.Join us and be part of something greater.Work in a team where you can act with purpose, take pride in your work, and thrive in an environment that values your contributions.What Youll Do:Perform hands-on maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems, including lighting and emergency systems.Conduct planned and reactive maintenance, covering HVAC systems, fire alarms, boiler maintenance, and more.Ensure compliance with water hygiene regulations (L8 ACoP) through tasks like sampling and temperature checks.Assemble, install, calibrate, and commission advanced equipment to avoid operational disruptions.Support additional facilities requirements, such as post-room duties, furniture moves, and AV equipment support.Collaborate with subcontractors and specialists to ensure seamless operations.What You Bring:A recognised apprenticeship or qualifications in electrical/mechanical maintenance (e.g., C&G, ONC, OND, NVQ).Certification in 18th Edition Electrical Safety and BS 2391 Inspection and Testing.Proven hands-on experience maintaining and repairing building systems, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.A thorough understanding of Health & Safety legislation, COSHH, and safe work practices.Self-motivation, adaptability, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.What We Offer:When you join Sodexo, youre not just taking on a job; youre becoming part of a team that values your efforts and supports your ambitions.
