The role As a Maintenance and Storage Operator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of Specialists working on Royal Engineer Bridging equipment that’s use helps to ensure the safety of our nation.

Day-to-day, you’ll be part of the team responsible for storing, moving, repairing and assembling bridging panels and assemblies.

Ensure that all bridging equipment variants are prepared/repaired to a very high standard to enable the inspection by the Inspectorate of Engineer Resources Keeping accountability of components and bridging assets Maintaining a safe work space Ensure all health and safety policies and equipment operating procedures are always adhered to

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition of employment for this role.

Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Ashchurch, Tewkesbury.

Essential experience of the Maintenance and Storage Operator

Experience in using hand tools, power tools, and mounted tools Experience in a workshop and/or warehouse environment Knowledge of military equipment would be advantageous but not essential

Forklift Licence
