Job Title: Make Plant Project Operator (DA) Location: Port Sunlight Factories Work-Level: CB6 JOB PURPOSE We have a secondment opportunity for a Making Project Operator to be the operations focal point for the exciting innovation and projects in the capsules making plant. The candidate will be a member of the making operational team ensuring close links with project delivery teams, R&D, P&I and Procurement. The candidate will ensure the operational aspects of the change programs are delivered robustly following a change management process. The candidate will be reviewing technical submissions from suppliers to ensure the proposals meet the Unilever specifications. Support small scale plant projects from conceptual design through to completion. Work alongside the Project & line leaders to support the delivery of critical projects. The candidate must be self driven and not afraid to challenge the norm to ensure cost saving and VIP projects are pushed through to delivery RESPONSIBILITIES Process / tool ownership and responsibilities: Leading, co-ordinating and managing all process trials Participate in supplier meetings and trials with a good forward-thinking approach to minimise risk utilising tools such as Risk assessment. Create detailed MPT Documents and communicate them out effectively to various stakeholders Follow the Run to standard methodology when working on trials to ensure the process is stable throughout innovation. Hold suppliers to account to ensure safety, quality & service Generate high quality technical Validation & Report writing Attend and in some cases lead all trial meetings with category, R&D, procurement etc. Generate trial document tracker which is visible to all relevant parties People responsibilities: Supports problem solving capability in suppliers & line teams Lead suppliers and set clear expectations when working with them ALL ABOUT YOU Strong technical knowledge with a recognised qualification(NVQ, HNC, City & Guilds) Company contact desirable Experience in process operations Experience in material interactions.
