Job Description Manufacturing Capability Manager Full Time All UK Sites, Hybrid working What you will be doing An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the team as the Manufacturing Capability Manager. The manufacturing function aligned to Civil Aerospace supports the Civil business as well as providing functional support across the enterprise. The aim of this team is to enable capability to deliver operational excellence. This is delivered through enactment of the functional roadmap. Under the leadership of the VP Manufacturing Capability, you will lead the roadmap to deliver improved capability for people, process and systems across the global civil footprint interfacing across the enterprise to share best practice and collaborate on priority areas. In this role, no one day will be same, with projects from creating training interventions for Production Leaders to coaching working team leaders, to support an induction programme for new employees, designing new leadership pipelines, fixing the basics with our day-to-day processes, and working with world class benchmark organizations to help us deliver our vision. You will need to have a background in operational line leadership which will be critical to enable you to design & deliver training as well as supporting talent learn and develop. This background will also support the delivery of implementing improved processes and systems. Responsibilities Lead the manufacturing capability roadmap to deliver uplift in leadership capability, talent pipelines, systems & processes. Support delivering a refreshed Production System that enables operational excellence. Coach the organization and business leaders on the production system and its benefits. Co-ordinate the Manufacturing Operations Pride in our Factories transformation workstream to support a step change in how our factories look & feel to deliver best in class operational excellence. Be the primary contact for Aris processes and supporting process councils for C5.4 within CAO on behalf of LPU. Champion the activities within the Lean Roadmap to deliver a Lean Enterprise and actively demonstrate the lean leadership actions. Why Rolls-Royce?
