Job Title: Manufacturing Services Operative (Warehouse)

Reports to: Manufacturing Services Team Lead

Location: Ornua Foods UK, Sunnyhills Road, Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 5SP

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm (Rotating Shifts)

Ornua Foods UK are looking for a Manufacturing Services Operative to join our busy Warehouse team. In this role, you will work as part of a team to ensure that FLT’s are driven safely and Manufacturing areas are provides with the required materials in a timely manner.

Successful candidates will be able to work within a busy but rewarding Warehouse environment, have a current Counterbalance and/or Reach licence from a recognised training provider and work well within a team.

A Day in the Life of a Manufacturing Services Operative

This is a varied role where you will need to be proactive and organised in a fast-paced environment, with other key duties including:

Ensure FLT’s are driven safely and are checked for safe operation before use including batteries. Ensure all stock transactions are carried out correctly and with accuracy. Adhere to Health & Safety policies are fully adhered to and that that PPE is worn correctly at all times. Ensure any issues with stock transactions, FLTs and racking are reported promptly. Ensure all materials are moved and stored safely in accordance with safe weight limits. Ensure that Dept Manager is informed of any issues which could impact Safety, Quality or Cost. Maintain a clear working area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and policies.
