The Department
This post sits within UWL’s Campaigns Team which focuses on creating effecting campaigns to recruit prospective students for both undergraduate and postgraduate study. The team also produce positive and engaging promotional material to support the University. The Team is part of the Marketing, Recruitment and Communications Department which also includes the Communications, Events, Recruitment, Digital and Admissions Teams.
The Role
The role includes
Managing the creation and production of printed and digital materials. Writing, editing, and proofreading publications, flyers and reports.Overseeing print and digital production, coordinating with designers and printers.Maintaining brand voice, style, and messaging, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.This role is a fixed term position for six months.
The Person
We are looking for a Marketing Officer who is passionate about marketing and who will enjoy working on a variety of projects to support the university recruitment strategy. The successful applicant will have extensive experience of working in a marketing role. They should have excellent advisory and interpersonal skills, as well as exceptional copy writing skills and attention to details. You will need to have the ability to work within a team and on your own initiative and should also have a flexible, proactive approach.
