  • Practical Experience: Prior demonstrable experience in a Materials Controller or Logistics Coordinator capacity is a significant advantage.
  • Essential Qualifications: A valid Forklift qualification and a full UK Driving Licence are required for this position.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:

  • Efficiently managing incoming goods and ensuring proper storage of materials.
  • Accurately raising requisitions for necessary supplies.
  • Preparing materials for overhaul, ensuring readiness for the next stage.
  • Safely loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Conducting regular stock counting to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Issuing materials to relevant teams and tracking their usage.
  • Expediting orders to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
  • Monitoring the utilization of materials on site to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborating effectively with stores and production teams across multiple Freightliner sites.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping to enhance safety and efficiency.

This position is full-time, 39 hours per week, operating Monday to Friday. It is subject to standard pre-employment checks, including references, medical, drug and alcohol screening, and a DBS background check.
