The Opportunity: Innovation in Action
As a Mechatronic Engineer, you will be a key player within Lear’s regional Innovation Hub, working as part of the EU & Africa Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering team. - System Design & Integration: You will be responsible for developing and integrating mechanical, electronic, and software components into functional robotic systems, and designing sophisticated control systems for automation and feedback loops.
- Automation Development and Testing: This is a hands-on role where you will advance prototype systems to scalable, industrial-ready solutions. You'll gain experience in programming PLCs and industrial automation systems, implementing robotic workflows, and building/testing robotic prototypes using microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems. Furthermore, you will conduct simulations, validate performance using modeling tools, and actively research emerging robotics platforms, sensors, and automation technologies.
