What youll do

Key responsibilities

As a Medical Advisor, you will combine in-depth scientific expertise with strong external engagement to drive pre-launch excellence, practice change initiatives, and patient pathway optimisation. This hybrid role blends office-based strategy with in-field activities across Key External Experts (KEEs), healthcare organisations, and patient advocacy groups.

What youll do

Lead scientific engagement and thought leadership: Conduct evidence-based, non-promotional scientific exchange; speak at scientific meetings per local regulations; organise and chair advisory boards; and co-create transform-care partnerships to enable guideline-directed medical therapy.Translate insights into strategy: Systematically gather disease-area and clinical practice insights, assess evidence gaps, and shape medical strategies, access plans, and real‑world evidence (RWE) priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Build strategic partnerships: Identify and develop relationships with KEEs, HCOs, PAGs, and other stakeholders to drive collaboration and practice change aligned to launch plans and within budget.Support evidence generation: Partner with CEE-BA/EUCAN Evidence teams on externally sponsored research, RWE, and prioritized clinical trials (as appropriate), facilitating recruitment awareness and scientific understanding within guidance.Be the internal scientific expert: Serve on cross-functional value/brand teams; own KEE and congress plans; provide internal training; contribute to reimbursement dossiers and patient access; and perform medical review of promotional and non-promotional materials and relevant regulatory documents.Own planning and governance: Plan and execute TA medical strategy, including budget planning and tracking, MI responsibilities within the TA, and compliant execution per CE SOPs, Global Standards, and Codes of Ethics.Invest in your development: Continuously advance your disease-area expertise, communication and negotiation capabilities, evidence generation literacy (incl. RWD/RWE), and cross-functional ways of working.

What youll bring

Medically qualified; university degree in medicine, pharmacology, natural or health sciences. Postgraduate degree (e.g., in these areas or business administration) is an advantage.Experience working in medical affairs as a Medical Advisor or medical Science Liaison, or clinical development; clinical experience (including non-physician roles, e.g., biochemistry) is an advantage.High-level medical knowledge; motivation to learn; commercial awareness.Advanced communication and presentation skills; strong project management; ability to work with large datasets; strong organization and time management.Customer orientation, results-focused, confident and enthusiastic.Fluent in Native Slovak with advanced English-speaking skills
