Model Validation Analyst This is a great job for someone who has relevant quantitative and modelling skills, preferably with knowledge of asset management and financial markets. A bit about the job: As a model Validation Analyst your role is to provide independent review, guidance and challenge of cross business methodologies and models, including new origination valuation models, portfolio risk models and other key models used across the business in line with Group and AI Model Management business standards. The successful candidate will contribute to building-out the model validation governance framework in line with the Model Risk Business Standards and will adopt, develop, and help set model review processes and the relevant control standards. Alongside this you will play a key role in team collaboration, stakeholder management and managing the team book of work deliverables and stakeholder expectations. This will include preparing, documenting and presenting independent model opinions and review findings. Skills and experience weâre looking for: Preferably experience/knowledge in risk and pricing models/methodologies Previous experience challenging model owners in an effective and constructive manner with effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to build close working relationships across the business and develop a strong reputation as subject matter expert. Experience of the asset management industry and the relevant associated risks Programming/Systems expertise â VBA, Python, other data/statistical packages, M365 copilot and other tools preferred.
