Model Validation Senior Manager Salary: National â circa £95,000, London â circa £110,000 Aviva's Model Risk Management Framework requires active oversight and independent validation for significant models. To ensure this, Aviva has established the Group Model Validation Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Risk function, which oversees and validates various models, including the Solvency UK Internal Model. A bit about the job: You will provide expertise, thought design and execution of technical and non-technical aspects of model validation, with a particular focus on General Insurance models, including advanced analytics and GenAI You will contribute to the selection of validation approaches, techniques, tests and tools to perform appropriate oversight and independent in the model risk inventory, with particular focus on General Insurance models, including Advanced Analytics and AI models (e.g. Pricing, Reserving, Customer segmentation, Productivity enhancing models) You will also assist the Model Validation Heads in coordinating with model owners and reviewing Aviva Solvency UK Internal Model as needed You will act as an independent validator to execute, review, and report validation activities for group-wide material models. Support General Insurance, Advanced Analytics, and AI models. Oversee interactions with other risk teams on data ethics and IT related to Advanced Analytics and AI models The role primarily involves direct work within the Group Model Validation CoE, requiring cooperation with the Group risk team and other modelling and oversight resources.
