This post of Clinical Skills Teacher in Paramedic Science offers an opportunity to lead and innovate curriculum, learning, teaching and assessment approaches across our current and future undergraduate programme. Working in line with University ambitions, the school is committed to providing an excellent experience. The school’s focus is on preparing future paramedics, working with and for the population of Bradford, West Yorkshire and beyond.
What you will be doing:
The post holder will
Increase the skills of students, through the demonstration of practical equipment and clinical skill procedures within a classroom or clinical skills setting.Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and skills teaching without direct supervision, relating to Paramedic Science.Assist module leaders with technical and administrative tasks related to the successful delivery of modules and the overall programme.Qualifications/ experience:
A Registered Paramedic with a current HCPC registration.First degree in a relevant area and/or a Diploma in paramedic practice with evidence of further academic study.Experience of working in pre-hospital urgent and emergency careExperience of teaching clinical skills to students or ambulance cliniciansSkills in the use of low- and hi-fidelity simulationCelebrating Diversity – The University of Bradford
