Having recently undertaken a restructure, the Directorate’s objective is to deliver an integrated approach to Human Resource Management and Organisational Development, based on insights, strategy and solution. We are investing in our systems, specifically Enterprise Resource Planning
The People System & Data Team serves a business-critical role in maintaining and securing the HR systems to allow our business to function. The team ensure the support and development of our HR Systems, managing integrations and dependencies, responding to user queries and supporting the reporting needs of the University.
About the Role:
Working as part of the People Systems & Data Team will involve managing queries from end users, engaging with external suppliers and ensuring the Systems run smoothly.
The role involves managing the routine system maintenance, i.e. upgrades, testing, maintenance checks, as well as problem solving end user issues and unplanned issues.
This role is fixed term for 18 months.
About You:
You will have a proven track record of providing technical support of HR/Payroll systems, including the maintenance and issue resolution. You will have the ability to configure system requirements, including user access, maintain security and configuration the system to meet the requirements of the University. You will be able to collaborate with colleagues across the university and external suppliers to ensure the smooth running and development of our Hr/Payroll systems. You will have the ability to work autonomously to problem solve, and advice and guide colleagues and end users to resolve issues. It would be desirable for you to have experience of supporting an Itrent HR/Payroll system
