Physical Commodities Financing Sales , Director

We are looking for an experienced individual to join Physical Commodity Financing team in London within Citi Global Markets to be responsible for originating physical and derivatives based commodities linked financing transactions (ownership structures, prepayments, liquidity swaps) across the energy commodities spectrum in EMEA.

Responsibilities:

Deal identification, origination and execution of physical commodity financing transactions across commodities spectrum with corporate and sovereign clients in EMEA regionTrusted advisor for the Commodities financing solutions provided to clients.Driving large transactions from inception to execution by partnering with all internal partners across the bank and the clients to deliver bespoke working capital solutionsTo grow the business through Citis existing client base as well as developing new relationshipsWork closely with Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, Trading, Structuring, Logistics and O&T in order to close dealsAppropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firms reputationBuild a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics

Qualifications:

This is not an entry level position. Proven experience in a similar position is required.Strong understanding of the market, players and the suite of commodity financing structures - ownership structures, prepayments, liquidity swapsPrevious experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships with C-SuiteDemonstrated deal track record with existing network of contacts.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner.Demonstrated interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work with broad group of stakeholdersWilling to travel

Education:

Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred

In order to comply with the requirements of the Certification Regime, Citi entities must take reasonable care to ensure that an employee does not perform a Certified Role without first being certified as Fit and Proper. For this reason, you will be assessed for this role against the Fit and Proper requirements, as described above.

This assessment will be carried out through extensive interviews, self-disclosures, permitted criminal record checks, regulated reference checks, credit checks and other background screening checks.
