Political Violence Specialty Leader LatAm

The Political Violence Regional Leader at Aon Reinsurance will be responsible for overseeing and managing all Political Violence reinsurance placements across the Latin American region. This role involves strategic leadership, client relationship management, and driving business growth while ensuring optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance Aon's Political Violence reinsurance practices in the Latin American region and leading our London PV offering.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with the network offices, understanding their needs and providing tailored reinsurance solutions.Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in PV reinsurance, leveraging Aon's global resources and expertise to obtain optimal results from the reinsurance market.Service Delivery: Coordinate the flow of business from the network offices into the London market in order to generate placement efficiencies, and working closely with regional resources and reinsurers to ensure optimal client outcomes.Collaboration: Collaborate with other regional leaders and stakeholders in the region to optimize business development and service delivery.Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and analyze the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and maintain Aon's market leadership.Work in coordination with Rodrigo Escalante and with the country fac leaders to ensure network offices are positioned to drive growth in this line of business.Compliance: Ensure all reinsurance broking activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications are preferred.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in PV reinsurance, with a proven track record in leadership and business development.

Skills: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

Excellent client relationship management and communication abilities.Proven leadership and team management skills.In-depth knowledge of the Latin American reinsurance market.Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
