Key Responsibilities to Thrive In:

As a Port Security Officer, your day-to-day activities will be varied and essential to the smooth operation of the port. You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining strict control over port access for authorized personnel, vehicles, and cargo.
• Conducting regular patrols to ensure a high-visibility security presence.
• Managing visitor access, including the issuance of permits and passes.
• Operating CCTV systems and conducting necessary vehicle and cargo searches.
• Responding effectively to incidents, providing first aid, and supporting emergency response protocols.
• Performing building checks and securing infrastructure outside of normal working hours.
• Assisting in investigations and meticulously documenting incident reports.
• Taking on specialized roles such as Fire Marshal, Oil Spill Responder, and Water Rescue operative (comprehensive training will be provided).

What You Bring to the Role:
