About this opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our engaging and collaborative Invoice Finance Product Team. We have a clear purpose and role in Helping Britain Prosper, funding businesses working capital to support our clients drive, growth and risk management whilst delivering on our lending growth objectives and improving the control environment. The team plays an exciting role in the delivery of our strategy, financial commitments, effective risk management and customer experience. With accountability for Invoice Finance across both our Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) and Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) business divisions. A product specialist who uses their expertise to support supports senior leadership and more junior peers in product development and management to deliver strong outcomes for the breadth of Clients in the Group's commercial portfolio. Collaborates with others under senior guidance in product management, governance, development and strategy. This role supports the management and development of the product set whilst acting as a source of expertise to provide advice and guidance to colleagues & stakeholders. Leading various activities to optimise client outcomes, key lending growth enablers, product performance, profit & balance sheet objectives through pricing, product design, distribution, promotion & governance. What youâll be doing Identifies shortcomings, suggests improvements and implements approved revisions to current compliance processes, systems and procedures within assigned unit and/or discipline. Analyses key themes using data from a wide range of sources and identifies possible impacts on the business. Investigates standard and non-routines incidents and reports and provides expert advice to more senior colleagues while coordinating with all internal functions to facilitate effective implementation of compliance programmes to minimise risk exposures and ensure adherence with regulatory standards. Manages and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues. Delivers prescribed outcomes for a designated area, using risk management systems to ensure the organisation is not exposed to undue risks. Identifies and evaluates complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs. Develops and/or delivers a plan for significant aspects of the financial management and/or control process.
