Key Responsibilities and What to Expect:
As a Production Planner within a Control Account Team (CAT) and Delivery Business Unit (DBU), you will be the central point of contact for your designated portfolio. Your primary focus will be on ensuring on-time delivery through meticulous planning and maintenance of crucial ERP and supporting systems. Key duties include:
- Developing, communicating, and tracking credible production plans that align with customer demands, while also considering inventory, logistics, and storage.
- Validating proposed plans by collaborating with Supply Chain Planners to ensure timely raw material delivery and with Production Leaders and Controllers to meet all customer and New Product Introduction (NPI) requirements.
- Maintaining the integrity of the ERP system with robust data to support accurate supply planning and taking proactive steps to rectify any inaccuracies.
- Understanding and optimizing inventory and logistics across the value stream to minimize customer delivery risks and costs.
- Participating in business and operational reviews to assess delivery capability, identify risks, and define mitigation actions.
