The Role As a Production Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will join a diverse and energetic team of production, project, engineering, and other functional staff working together to deliver exciting cutting edge defence projects to UK and international clients.

Day-to-day, you’ll support the production scheduler with the facilities planning and operation, this role is crucial in ensuring the efficient scheduling and management of our production pipeline to meet current and future demands.

Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Coordinate with various departments (engineering, procurement, and production) to align schedules and resources. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues. Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency. Forecast future production needs based on anticipated pipeline and future growth.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Ashton Vale, Bristol.

Essential experience of the Production Planner

Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment, preferably in high-complexity, low-volume production. Strong understanding of production planning principles and practices. Proficiency in production planning software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, the successful candidate will be eligible to start on Standard (BPSS) security clearance but will need to achieve Security Check (SC) security clearance.
