University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Professor in Economics in School of Economics. It is looking for an ambitious and talented specialist in macroeconomics, trade and/or international macroeconomics with a passion for teaching and research to join its team of experts. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (Masters and PhD) in the School of Economics and to take a leadership role in the School's policy think tank, Global Economic Policy.
Suitably qualified candidates must have a PhD degree in an economics and should have an internationally recognized research programme in macroeconomics, international trade and/or international macroeconomics, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills in English. The successful candidate will be initially offered a five-year contract, which may be subsequently extended to a continuing appointment based on performance.
