Job Description Job Description Project Lead â Lean Repair Factory â Aftermarket Operations Full-Time Derby/Hybrid An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Lead to work across the Lean Repair Factory within Aftermarket Operations â Business Development & Capability. The scope of the role is broad and varied but is aligned to the goal of reducing overhaul shop visit cost by deploying repair capability rather than fitting new components. The role offers you the opportunity to work with joint venture overhaul bases such as HAESL, SAESL and N3 but also with our network of repair suppliers and non-JV overhaul bases. What you will be doing: Take responsibility for the delivery of projects, or workstreams within a large programme. Being accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification & time for defined projects/workstreams. Establish, develop & maintain Project Management processes & documentation necessary to deliver projects (e.g. schedules, WBS, performance reports, budgets, risk registers, resource plans etc.) Organise & lead programme/project review meetings where critical decisions are made. Whilst supporting management and key stakeholders in decision making. Ensuring company management processes are implemented & effective. Lead multidisciplinary teams and develop & implement Project Management best practice. What we are looking for: Experience of working in cross-functional projects with accountability for Quality, Cost, Time & Scope. With knowledge of Rolls-Royce Project Management systems, tools & methods. Project Management accredited by APM, PMI, Prince2 (or working towards accreditation). Experience working across the Project life cycle (initiation through to delivery/closure). With project planning, reporting, budget management & risk management experience. Proven people, communication & stakeholder management skills. With exposure to non-core project management roles/functions, such as working with customers & other cultures. The professional level and the salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be Staff Grade SNBG 7-9.
