The role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about our business operations and work closely with diverse stakeholders and project teams.

You will

- Manage the project accounts, raising purchase orders, making sure suppliers are paid on time and deal with external supplier queries.

- Coordinate and prepare project related meetings, making sure these are scheduled, attended and minutes are recorded to a high quality.

- Support the project team to meet Project Governance milestones and deadlines.

- Coordinate all project reporting and presentation packs – making sure these are produced on time and to a high-quality standard.

- Assist with any additional project specific administration duties.

You have

- Excellent administration and organisational skills; this role is a busy one and will allow you an opportunity to learn about our business and interact with a wide range of stakeholders and project teams.

- Previous experience in a project-based environment, ideally in a similar administrative or support role. Experience managing project finances is beneficial.

- A keen eye for detail, and an ability to prioritise workload, incorporating demanding deadlines. This includes the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

- A demonstrable proven ability to problem solve and be able to prioritise and work in the most efficient and collaborative way. This will require excellent communication skills.

- A sound understanding and experience of working with multiple software packages and systems.

The successful candidate would be expected to travel between different SSE offices/project sites, with the occasional overnight stay. Therefore, a driving licence is required.
