Job Description: Project Manager â Change & IT Brighton / London / Manchester Permanent Full time â Hybrid - 35 hours/week We make Heath Happen: The Project Manager (PM) will lead, manage and co-ordinate individual deliveries within the Transformation and Change Portfolio, employing best practice to relentlessly focus on delivering business value, optimising the flow of work, and ensuring quality outputs meet stated business, customer and colleague outcomes. Individual deliveries may form part of a Portfolio Value Stream and/or a Programme. The PM will collaborate with stakeholders up to Executive level as well as internal and external teams throughout the change delivery lifecycle. The role is a key contributor to wider to portfolio operations, ensuring completeness of data, reporting and delivery information, whilst ensuring inputs to key governance events are of the required quality and completeness. How youâll help us make health happen: Deliver assigned initiatives on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards, establishing effective controls to monitor progress and outcomes. Identify and manage internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships across the initiative/s and wider delivery environment. Oversee costs, including business, IT, hardware, software, and third-party expenses. Develop and maintain integrated plans for delivery, quality, and risk, ensuring clear control of scope, dependencies, and value-driven outcomes. Provide accurate financial forecasts and regular reporting to stakeholders. Promote transparency across delivery teams, aligning work sequencing and scheduling to maximise efficiency and value. Coordinate with other Bupa Global teams to optimise resource use within scope and budget. Own and communicate the delivery plan, ensuring timely, standardised data supports governance and portfolio insight. Build trusted relationships with sponsors and governance bodies, ensuring full engagement and visibility of project activity. Ensure compliance with Bupa Global standards and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall). Role model high-performance behaviours, supporting continuous improvement across the delivery function. What youâll bring: Extensive knowledge of project management processes, tools and techniques, ideally applied within a regulated environment. Minimum 5 yearsâ experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid Agile). Proven experience working as an Agile Project Manager or Delivery Manager within technology-driven environments. Demonstrated ability to manage delivery across multiple Agile teams or workstreams concurrently. Proven track record of project management, particularly in the application of change and tech/IT projects. Proficient in change management, implementing business change into a complex regulatory environment. Demonstrable proficiency in leading and motivating teams in a complex organisation. Proficient at cost management, including production of business proposals and managing significant budgets.
