What Your Role Entails: The Core of Your Contribution
As a Proposal Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the commercial success of the Biggin Hill Service Centre. Your primary responsibility will be to empower the frontline sales team and directly support external customers by delivering timely and accurate proposals for Bombardier's after-market services. This crucial role involves:
- Collaborating with Product Administrators, Schedulers, and Planners to meticulously determine pricing, project timelines, and standard downtime for various work scopes.
- Actively tracking and coordinating multiple proposals using sophisticated applications like Pivotal and Maximo, demonstrating agility in adapting to evolving priorities.
- Applying special programs, incentives, and pricing adjustments, while seamlessly coordinating with internal departments and external vendors for efficient aircraft maintenance scheduling.
- Receiving assignments, accepting them into the system, or proactively requesting any necessary additional information to ensure proposal accuracy.
- Working in close partnership with Regional Managers (RM) and Product Administrators (PA) to gather all essential information for comprehensive proposal development.
- Monitoring process steps within Pivotal and Maximo to maintain an optimal flow and ensure the swift progression of proposals through the system.
- Conducting thorough reviews of proposals to guarantee quality and accuracy before their official release.
- Ensuring the precise application of correct pricing, special programs, and incentives as applicable to each proposal.
- Coordinating with Service Centre schedulers to accurately ascertain aircraft downtime for proposal inclusion.
- Verifying that each proposal meticulously meets all criteria set forth by the RM's request.
- Submitting completed proposals for review to the Service Centre management.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with the RM, providing status updates and addressing any late proposals.
- Creating proposal documents within Pivotal and Maximo and distributing them to the RM.
- Effectively implementing revisions and changes as required to proposals.
