Reporting to the Head of Plant Quality Assurance the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting our manufacturing facility. You will improve quality by using your problem-solving skills to identifying root causes of issues and drive forward robust solutions. Your proven track record in quality engineering will enable you to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product and process quality, as well as providing timely solutions to internal and external customer concerns. You will use your communication skills to show good data analysis and be able to work with other disciplines at all levels. You will have a direct input into new product introduction within the Industrial Area.

Qualifications - HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/ Quality disciplines. Familiar and confident with range of measuring and inspection equipment and can interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience gained from a “hands on” Quality Assurance role within a shop floor manufacturing environment. Practical knowledge of Quality tools including but not limited to, PFMEA, Control plan, 8D, SPC, Ishikawa. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or other similar Quality standard and the ability to use Microsoft products outlook excel, PowerPoint.
