We have an Estates Masterplan that will see £1bn of investment through a capital programme in enhancing and delivering a sustainable, inclusive estate over the next decade.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of PMO and Business Support Services, the role will ensure that an ISO 9001 accredited system, process and procedures are integrated with other management systems, including the ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO55001 (under development), identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency.

The role will oversee the collation, storage, management, retrieval, archiving, quality, protection of information and data and co-ordinate with IT to oversee data standards, management, quality and data controls within our systems.

About you

Your communication skills are positive with an inclusive approach and genuine passion for effective information management. You have experience in operating in an Estates and Facilities environment including project management.  You have set up, developed and migrated to modern document libraries and are proficient in using SharePoint, Teams and Office 365 with a proven track record of leading information and quality management across a multi-discipline portfolio.

What we can offer you

We support a flexible approach to work and additional benefits that will make your life easier, such as access to private dental and/or healthcare insurance and a generous holiday allowance. We will support your long-term future with access to the University's Superannuation Scheme (USS), subsidised health and fitness facilities, and various discounts.

We welcome applications from all walks of life and champion a uniquely diverse working environment where every colleague can excel, regardless of their background or life choices. We believe that we can only truly meet our objectives if we are reflective of society, so we are passionate about creating a diverse environment. Therefore, we particularly encourage applications that will strengthen the diversity of our estates leadership team.

We are a Stonewall Diversity Champion and are immensely proud to have our institutional Athena SWAN silver award renewed, which underpins our pledge to improve equality for women. We are also delighted to have received the Race Equality Charter bronze award from Advance HE, which recognises that we have a solid foundation for eliminating racial inequalities and developing an inclusive culture that values all staff and students.
