  • Shape the Role: As a foundational member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to establish processes and make a tangible impact, working closely with the Senior Finance Manager.
  • Gain Broad Exposure: Dive deep into the financial intricacies of multiple INEOS Holding companies, providing comprehensive support across transactional activities, bookkeeping, and critical reporting functions. This breadth of experience is invaluable for career progression.
  • Accelerate Your Development: Work directly under the guidance of a Senior Finance Manager, gaining invaluable insights into monthly and annual reporting, intercompany management, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit preparation for a large, complex group.
  • Develop Technical Acumen: Handle diverse financial activities including accounts payable, recharge invoicing, expense processing, bank reconciliations, and recording transactional activities across major currencies (GBP, EUR, USD), significantly enhancing your practical skills.

Key Accountabilities & Skill Development:

The role offers a robust set of responsibilities designed to build a well-rounded finance professional:

  • Managing the full accounts payable cycle and issuing recharge invoices, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Performing meticulous bookkeeping and reconciliations for bank and transactional activities in multiple currencies, crucial for maintaining financial integrity.
  • Assisting with crucial month-end reporting tasks, intercompany confirmations, loan revaluations, and mismatch reports, providing insight into complex financial operations.
  • Supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and addressing audit queries, providing exposure to the full financial reporting lifecycle from start to finish.
  • Engaging in various ad-hoc projects, ensuring continuous learning and exposure to new challenges and business needs.

Who Should Consider This Role?

  • Professional Qualification: Be a part-qualified or qualified Accountant (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles.
