Job Description: Job Title Quantitative Strategist â Credit Risk and Capital Strats Location London Corporate Title Vice President Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) is part of Group Chief Operation Office (COO) which acts as the bridge between the Bank businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the Bank. You will work on designing and implementing large scale calculations (including methodology) of X-Value Adjustment (XVA) measures (e.g. Shareholder-Value Adjustment (VA)/Capital-VA/Margin-VA/Funding-VA/Credit-VA/Collateral-VA) for the cross-asset derivative portfolio of the Investment Bank and work together with Exotics trading desks and Financial Resource management (FRM) desk as well as Sales and Structuring globally to optimise the bank capital / financial resource usage and manage its counterparty credit risk. Your key responsibilities Designing and implementing scalable cross-asset XVA calculations and integrated pre-deal pricing capabilities within the Bank strategic valuation and analytics platform Supporting business requests, in terms of both new XVA modelling & market data calibration, product coverage, automation and ad-hoc pre-deal pricing and FRM optimisation Expanding pre-deal pricing capabilities for XVA, funding and capital-based pricing for Trading, Sales and Structuring globally Ensuring the smooth operation of the franchise, in terms of daily production of accurate and timely risk and Profit and Loss (P&L) figures Dealing with multiple stakeholders, from trading, structuring, sales to treasury, finance, market and credit risk teams Your skills and experience Educated to Masters degree level or PhD in a quantitative subject Strong understanding of pricing and risk of derivative products across Rates, Foreign exchange (FX), Credit and Commodities businesses Strong computing and programming skills and experience within a financial services environment, utilizing programming languages such as C++ and Python.
