About the role

In partnership with site leadership teams, the objective is to achieve a culture of manufacturing excellence through the deployment of a structured approach based on TPM/WCM. Develop capabilities in manufacturing and engineering functions, aiming to transform the performance behaviors of the organization, move from reactive to preventive to proactive and predictive. Identify and eliminate losses and wastes to improve efficiency and productivity. Identify and prevent losses and wastes early in new lines and new products through the development of Early Management and Vertical Start-Up systems in the factories.

Your responsibilities

-Develop the capability in all site teams to build the foundation of continuous improvement principles in all operational teams.

-Implement the Global Manufacturing Operating System to drive performance behaviors and cross-functional accountability

-Work closely with regional functions Safety, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Digitalization teams to align critical priorities for each Region. Harmonize performance tracking and reporting, data analysis and processes to improve results. Collaborate with the Finance, Engineering and Digital teams to establish the CAPEX annual plans and roadmaps also the CI budget.

-Track Productivity projects (savings) across Region: Help identifying tactical and strategical projects. Harmonize and consolidate reporting and tracking of execution of Productivity projects.

-Traveling required 50% - Europe. Role based in Hull or Nottingham site, UK.

The experience we're looking for

-Engineering university degree

-Experience as member of the leadership team of a factory

-FMCG industry experience + 8 years in Manufacturing / Operations

-Proven leadership experience of Manufacturing Excellence implementation and oversight in multiple sites

-Experience in leading the implementation from training to results of the pillars AM, PM, QM, E&T, EM, FI standards, systems and routines.

-Competence in leading Problem Solving workshops for specific chronic losses and Kaizen events (e.g., Focused Improvement)

-Proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills for transforming operations from reactive to preventive and proactive

-Ability to influence SC Directors and Factory leadership teams to change and apply proven ways of working, based on strong collaboration and hands on support to implement systems
