Job Purpose:

The Centre for International Law and Globalisation is looking for a PG Research Assistant (RA) to support a small project for 20 hours in total. Tasks will include:

Proofreading research papers Checking consistency in footnoting/endnoting Helping with the draft of a short blog post (between 500 to 1,500 words) about a recent event (materials will be provided)Assisting with other research-related activities

Attention to detail and strong writing skills are essential. This role is well suited to those interested in international law, human rights, asylum law, and climate change. 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Proofreading research papers Checking consistency in footnoting/endnoting Helping with the draft of a short blog post (between 500 to 1,500 words) about a recent event (materials will be provided)Any other duties as allocated by the line manager following consultation with the post holder

Essential Skills:

Currently enrolled in a PG programme, preferably in Law, or having a legal background Excellent command of EnglishInterest in international law, human rights, asylum law, and/or climate change
