The Research Operations Officer will join an existing team within the Research & Innovation Office, focused on supporting the ongoing optimisation of our research and innovation systems, assisting in the development of enhanced reporting and management information, and make important contributions to internal and external benchmarking exercises, and make important contributions to designing and facilitating new ways of working within an ever-developing environment.
RVC implemented Worktribe (a SaaS research management platform) in 2020, including Profiles, Pre and Post Award, Contracts and Outputs modules. The post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of RVC’s research and innovation management systems, providing front-line support to RVC research and research support communities and acting as a key operational interface with Professional Services colleagues (Finance, ISD, HR, Governance, Library Services, Registry).

Experience of having used or supported research management systems and the ability to identify and suggest solutions for technical challenges would provide a good foundation for success in this role.
