This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Facilities and Estates team at the University of Worcester. The University of Worcester is seeking a Residential & Commercial Systems Analyst to enhance the student accommodation experience and optimise operational systems. This role combines student support, accommodation management, and IT expertise to ensure seamless service delivery.
About the Role
As part of the Estates & Facilities team, you will oversee University Managed Accommodation allocations, support students throughout their stay, and ensure compliance with accommodation standards. You will also act as a systems expert, overseeing technical support, upgrades, and configuration for key platforms such as StarRez.
Key Responsibilities
Support prospective students in their accommodation journey, from application to room selection.Manage room allocations, moves, and swaps to enhance student satisfaction and optimise income.Provide ongoing student support, addressing concerns and promoting independent living.Ensure compliance with the Universities UK Student Accommodation Code and assist with audits.Act as a system super-user, offering training and configuration support.Oversee system upgrades, liaising with IT and external suppliers.Produce technical reports and maintain accurate system documentation.Lead, train, and support Residential & Commercial Apprentices and student staff.Assist with commercial accommodation bookings and summer operations.Respond to incidents and ensure compliance with GDPR and security policies.Collaborate with university departments to enhance the student residential experience.For full details, please refer to the job description.

Essential Criteria
Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience.Experience with IT solutions, software applications, and MS Office to an advanced level.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle confidential information in accordance with GDPR.Desirable Criteria
