Job Description SVP Operational Optimisation Full time – Hybrid Derby Purpose Lead the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) operating model across Civil Aerospace making decisions to optimize the operational plan to deliver the best outcome for Civil across the Value Streams and supply areas (Aft Ops, Man Ops and Procurement). Lead improvements in the operating model to ensure it is as efficient and effective within Civil Aerospace and the enabling functions. Facilitate alignment across departments (CALT, Aftermarket Ops, Man Ops, Value Streams and Group Enabling Functions e.g. Procurement), drive accountability for action items and support continuous improvement of governance structures and planning processes. Responsibilities Facilitate weekly S&OE governance forum with CALT Review and improve S&OE operating model across Civil to be as efficient and effective as possible Drives adherence to SIOP plan, ensuring appropriate KPIs are transparent and being used to facilitate business decisions Optimise operational plan across Civil resolving for appropriate metric i.e. fleet health, P&L etc Track and drive execution of the SIOP action list inter-cycle Assign and follow-up on action owners (e.g., Value Streams, Procurement) Drive root-cause and corrective action analysis (RCCA) where S&OE issues arise Monitor S&OE performance KPIs (lagging & leading indicators) and define improvement actions Report S&OE progress back into the SIOP process Drive integration with MRO, OE, and parts execution functions Drives optimisation scenarios, decisions, and escalations Improve governance setup and structural process alignment Support implementation of frozen horizon planning and operating rules Why Rolls-Royce?
