To ensure the effective delivery of Shipping, Receiving & Yard / Warehousing activities within the Plant and Logistics Department and to carry out identified job tasks in a safe, diligent and efficient manner.

Hold a fork lift licence or willing to be trained to drive up to 12T forklift Fit and able to do a lot of manual lifting, and climbing in and out of half height containers Capable of working in a team or on their own Have some knowledge of scaffolding equipment Willing to learn and undertake every part of the scaffold requirements from backload to loading out Willing to work overtime when required Basic knowledge of health and safety requirements (a full site induction will be given) Daily duties include: checking scaffold tubes, boards and fittings for defects, loading containers for shipping off-shore, unloading containers and counting scaffold back into stock once checked, preparing scaffold for orders and general housekeeping. Able to work as and when required in other departments as instructed by line manager
