As aSecond Chef at Sodexo in Warminster GarrisonYour culinary expertiseand organizational excellence will lead an entire food and beverage production. You'll be providing this service forour armed forces personnel, improving their quality of lifeevery day!What youll do:Lead the kitchen in the absence of your senior colleagues & provide support for the production teamDirect the preparation/dutiesto the commis chefs, chef de parties and other kitchen staff.Assisting/sharing in ordering, prep, stock control, to running service & clean down.Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systemsimprovisationand maximisethe use of existing stocks where necessary.Working with the FOH team to drive the service excellenceWork on the range with the kitchen team to train, guide & developMonitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulationsPrepare, produce and present food to the highest standardWhat you bring:NVQ lv 2/3 or experience working in a busy kitchen environmentBasic IT skills, with Microsoft packages experienceExperience in menu planning and productionExposure to bulk cookingThe enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills.A positive and approachable mannerIf you have experience in the above, but don't hold experience as a 'sous chef' we would still love to hear from youWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater.
