Team/Role Overview

A role within Markets Operations means that you will have a truly global reach, in a supportive environment which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfasts iconic Titanic Quarter.

The overall objective of this role is to assist in the prompt payment of transactions and the investigation of any issues that may arise. This involves working with data, investigating, and resolving problems and communicating with colleagues, to complete transactions. Working within a fast paced, operational environment means that your activity really counts towards your teams ability to achieve their targets.What you will do:

Check and verify information to ensure accuracy of booking requestsGenerate and match transactions under general supervisionDirect transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on solutionsSupport the preparation and submission of internal and external regulatory reportsPerform multiple transactions of moderate complexityInterpret data and apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysisIdentify policy gaps and makes suggestions to support the streamlining of related work processesEffectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, with whom you may exchange potentially complex/sensitive information to progress work and resolve issues

What we will need from you:

Evidence of ability to manage multiple tasks and working towards deadlinesAbility to perform a range of tasks/projectsComfortable with working in a team environment and being initiative-taking in recommending improvements to existing processesProficient in MS Office (Excel and Word)Self-reliant, good problem solver, and results orientedStrong attention to detailAbility to partner with other teams to provide innovative solutionsAbility to effectively prioritise
